The REINZ Awards for Excellence celebrate outstanding achievement across New Zealand real estate – recognising the people, partnerships, teams, offices and agencies who are delivering exceptional outcomes for their clients and communities during the Awards Year (1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026). As the real estate industry continues to evolve, it’s important that the awards evolve alongside it. Following a series of industry consultations across 2025 and early 2026, REINZ has listened carefully to member feedback regarding the Awards criteria and has engaged with sector groups and senior industry leaders. The updates reflect valuable feedback received from members and sector groups, and are intended to improve consistency across entries, better recognise evolving business operating models, and ensure that performance is assessed in a way that is equitable across individuals, offices and agencies of varying sizes. The result is an awards programme that continues to recognise excellence while reflecting today’s real estate landscape.
